It had long been a desire of the family to relocate my father to the East Coast. ASSIST was fully supportive and proactive in making the necessary arrangements. Their single focus at all times was to ensure that my father was medically able to travel and that his journey would be a comfortable and enjoyable one.
      It is often the little things that really count; going for a ride to a favorite place, getting a milkshake, being certain that his eyeglasses fit properly. It is impossible to detail all of the important things that ASSIST did for my father. The critical issue is that they did these things that we would do had we been present. Family members discovered most of these deeds after the fact from other sources.
      My father is now with us, in a nursing home on the East Coast. Despite the numerous family members now constantly with him, we miss the dedication and compassion of ASSIST. I wish there were some way to convince them they should start an East Coast operation. We would sign up as number one in the area!
      Their professionalism, coupled with a true dedication to the client's well being was far above and beyond anything for which we could have hoped. ASSIST is no longer a pseudo family member of the McAdams clan; they are now full-fledged components of our family.
